Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Guide42 platform ("Service"), operated by Guide42 Technologies Ltd ("Company", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. Accounts and Subscriptions
You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for all activity under your account and for maintaining the security of your credentials. Each subscription plan grants access to specific features as described on our pricing page. We reserve the right to modify plan features with 30 days' notice.
2. Billing and Cancellations
Paid plans are billed monthly or annually in advance via Stripe. You may cancel at any time from your account settings. Upon cancellation, your access continues until the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds are issued for unused time within a billing cycle, except as outlined in our Refund Policy.
3. Refunds
We offer a 14-day refund window from the date of your first payment. Refund requests must be submitted to support@guide42.ai. After the 14-day window, all payments are non-refundable. See our full Refund Policy for details.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for unlawful purposes or to process data you do not have the right to use
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the Service
- Transmit malicious code, spam, or content that violates third-party rights
- Exceed rate limits or abuse API access in a way that degrades the Service for others
- Resell or redistribute the Service without written consent
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms without prior notice.
5. Intellectual Property
All platform code, design, branding, and documentation are the property of Guide42 Technologies Ltd. You retain ownership of the data you upload. By using the Service, you grant us a limited licence to process your data solely to provide and improve the Service. We do not use your data to train AI models.
6. AI Output Disclaimer
Guide42 uses AI to generate responses based on your approved knowledge base. While we design the system to be accurate and cite sources, AI-generated outputs may contain errors or omissions. The Service is not a substitute for professional legal, medical, or financial advice. You are responsible for reviewing and validating AI-generated content before acting on it.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Company shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of the Service. Our total aggregate liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
8. Data Protection
We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws, including the UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on Personal Data Protection and, where applicable, the GDPR. You are responsible for ensuring you have the necessary rights and consents to upload data to the Service.
9. Modifications
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Emirate of Dubai and the applicable federal laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Dubai, UAE.
