Refund Policy

We want you to be satisfied with Guide42. This policy outlines how refunds and cancellations work.
1. 14-Day Refund Window
If you are not satisfied with Guide42, you may request a full refund within 14 days of your first payment. This applies to both monthly and annual subscriptions. To request a refund, email support@guide42.ai with your account email and reason for the request. Refunds are processed within 5-10 business days to your original payment method.
2. After the 14-Day Window
After 14 days, all payments are non-refundable. You may cancel your subscription at any time, and your access will continue until the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds are issued for unused time within a billing cycle.
3. Annual Subscriptions
Annual plans are eligible for a full refund within the first 14 days. After that period, you may cancel and your access continues until the end of the annual term. No pro-rata refunds are provided for early cancellation of annual plans outside the 14-day window.
4. Subscription Cancellation
You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Upon cancellation:
- Access continues until the end of the current billing period
- No further charges will be made
- Your data is retained for 90 days after account closure, then deleted
- You can reactivate your account at any time during the retention period
5. Downgrades
You may downgrade your plan at any time. The downgrade takes effect at the start of the next billing cycle. No refunds or credits are issued for the difference between plans within the current cycle.
6. Chargebacks
If you believe a charge is unauthorised, please contact us at support@guide42.ai before initiating a chargeback with your bank. We are committed to resolving billing disputes quickly. Filing a chargeback without contacting us first may result in account suspension pending investigation.
7. Free Trials
Free trials do not require payment information. If you choose to subscribe after a trial, the 14-day refund window starts from your first paid invoice.
